<p>Many people have succeeded from failure, and many would not have succeeded had they not failed! Think of failure as a road you have to travel to arrive at success. This isn&#8217;t meant to oversimplify failure or treat it lightly; knowing how to deal properly with failure can determine the course of your future and how you will achieve success.</p>
<p>Everyone reacts to failure in different ways and has their own coping mechanisms to handle failed efforts. But learning the mindset and strategies that bring success rather than failure can be a tremendous help!</p>
<p><strong>If you have experienced failure and are still hurting from it, below are some tips that can help you recover more easily: </strong></p>
<p>1. <strong>Learn the lessons from your failure. </strong>Every failure comes with a built-in lesson available that you can learn from. Identify this lesson and focus on its importance to you, then remember it as you strive for success. The danger of not learning from failure is that you&#8217;ll be likely to repeat your mistakes.</p>
<p>2. <strong>Don&#8217;t let failure hold you back.</strong> After a failure, it&#8217;s normal to think you should simply give up. But failure itself isn&#8217;t the main issue here, it&#8217;s what you do with it that matters most. It&#8217;s essential that you aim for greater self-confidence. It may turn out that your recent experience with failure has brought you to the doorstep of great success. This has happened to many of the most successful people.</p>
<p>3. <strong>Surround yourself with enthusiastic, forward-thinking people.</strong> Spending time with positive people who think like you is important. This is never more true than when you&#8217;re going through a period of low self-confidence following a failure. The positive people in your live will encourage you to pick yourself up, try harder and reach further than you ever knew you could.</p>
<p>4. <strong>Visualize your success.</strong> The best way to diffuse the negative thinking that can follow failure is to picture yourself successfully reaching your goal. Give yourself some visualization time to see yourself accomplishing every step along the way.</p>
<p>5. <strong>Become enthusiastic.</strong> It&#8217;s quite likely you were filled with enthusiasm when you started out on a big task or project. No matter how many times you encounter failure, it&#8217;s essential that you maintain your enthusiasm as it will continue to fuel the drive you need to reach your goal.</p>
<p>6. <strong>Don&#8217;t live in the past.</strong> What happened in the past does not automatically determine what will happen now or in the future. A setback is only temporary, and it doesn&#8217;t mean that&#8217;s the result you&#8217;ll get all the time going forward. Simply put, if you want to reach your goals, never give up.</p>
<p>7. <strong>Always consider the worst-case scenario.</strong> If you try something and fail, what&#8217;s the worst that can happen? Some people who are obsessed with success have an equally deep fear of failure; these people are unable to see that the worst case scenario could turn out to be not that bad after all! If you can keep in mind that any failure you encounter is just a bump in the road to success, your fears will dissolve and your confidence will grow.</p>
<p><strong>NEVER GIVE UP! </strong></p>
<p>Most of us know someone who has single-mindedly pursued a goal and wouldn&#8217;t let anything get in their way. There&#8217;s no reason why you couldn&#8217;t be that person, too! Understand what fuels this enthusiastic drive for success and adopt it for yourself.</p>

<p>In this world everyone reaches a point in their life when they review their past and present and wonder if they have made too many mistakes along the way. Whether it is that they think they have not made enough money, have not made it as far in the career as they thought they would have, or their life is in no way what they originally thought it would be, many can find themselves wondering if they made too many wrong decisions in the past. While remembering lessons learned in the past can benefit one&#8217;s future, one has to be careful not to dwell too much on the past lest they forget to look in the direction they are going in life.</p>
<p>The first thing one should realize when they start thinking this way is that the past is done and there is <strong>nothing</strong> they can do to change it. The next step would be to start thinking about all the positive things that exist in one&#8217;s life, such as the wonderful family, having food on the table and a comfortable shelter. People who have experienced problems can easily become  a little more pessimistic about themselves and their lives. It could be that they have been struggling financially for the last couple years, which can be understandable if there have been layoffs and/or a recession that can put just about anyone in a bad mood. It takes a little more effort, but working on being more optimistic and focusing more on the good things one has is important when life is starting to look less than what one thinks it should be. Life is unpredictable, and despite how much one tries to stay with their plans, things happen that are beyond anyone&#8217;s control. All one can do in these cases is go with the flow and try to make the best of the current situation.</p>
<p>When life starts to look a little grim and one is finding it difficult to find the good in their current situation, start thinking about the positive things in life. Life will never be perfect; it will never go 100 percent the way one plans it, but there are always other paths in life one can take that can make it as close to being perfect as it can be.</p></div>

<p>Developing a optimistic outlook is what you can do to become more positive. Most people are usually more pessimistic than optimistic. Why? People are usually unhappy with their lives because their thoughts consume them. With A pessimistic attitude you can only go so far until your mind begins to turn on you.</p>
<p>You will not enjoy your life, you will find faults with everything, you will criticize and sneer at everyone and everything and this will consume your mind. You may even develop hatred for this world or even your friends. But If you develop a positive outlook life will  smile back at you. Experiences of joy seep into your everyday circumstance. You no longer become a victim of life but a creator of your own destiny.</p>
<p><strong>How can you reach a mind state of happiness, joy and peace?</strong></p>
<p>Take daily steps towards anything which create positive momentum for you. Once you have established a foundation of positive activities though consistency the snowball effect takes place. You create massive momentum of positivity which soon sparks more and more positive thought. The effects are happiness, joy and peace.</p>

<p>Well, what if your effort isn&#8217;t appreciated and they criticise and humiliate you instead? Would that have an effect on the way you&#8217;re feeling about them? What are the probabilities of you jumping in to help them should another similar situation arise? Very bleak? I will not blame you for that.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t indicate that you don&#8217;t need a more enjoyable life. That leaky roof might have been upsetting you for weeks, but you still have to be thankful for the fact that you do have a roof over your head. You can feel that you&#8217;ve got the worst job in the town, but I bet that you&#8217;d be capable of finding someone that would find your job a genuine blessing. Been in a violent relationship? Just be thankful for the incontrovertible fact that you aren&#8217;t in one right now. Even if you&#8217;re still in that relationship, you may be thankful that you have some time to handle it.</p>
<p>So long as you are alive, you&#8217;ve got something to be thankful for. Life is rarely going to be a massive garden blooming with roses that come without thorns. Its how you feel about the thorns that matter.</p>
<p>Your life would appear miles better to somebody else out there. Things do get messed up from time to time,  for life isn&#8217;t exciting without the ups and downs  but if you need less of these  in the future, learn how to love the ones you have now. In fact, it might have been worse, but it is not. Thank God!</p>

<p>One of the biggest mistakes you can make in your life is to compare yourself to someone else. Why? Simple. You cannot compare how you are feeling on the inside to how you perceive another person to look on the outside. It is just not a like for like comparison.</p>
<p>The moment you compare yourself to another you are going down a road of being vane or bitter. Human nature is to excel and always better yourself,  but the problem is when you compare yourself against someone without a clear reason.</p>
<p>When you look at someone&#8217;s position in life and the assets they have acquired, and you feel envy and contempt towards them, you are actually doing yourself more harm than good.</p>
<p>Below are four simple ways to relieve you from the feeling when you are feeling bitter about someone and move you to a place of self-acceptance.</p>
<p><strong><strong>1) Find out more</strong></strong><br />
Your envy might just be about one particular thing in a person. What if you look a bit more into this person and find something you don&#8217;t like about them.</p>
<p><strong><strong>2) Use a nickname</strong></strong></p>
<p>This may sound childish but if you can find a bit of humor in how you feel, you can laugh about it instead of beating yourself up. This will put you in a much more productive place.</p>
<p><strong><strong>3) Pay a compliment</strong></strong></p>
<p>If you are feeling really bitter towards someone, do the opposite; find something nice to say about them. Once you pay them a compliment you change how you view them and might learn a little about yourself.</p>

<p>The one thing you will always have over anyone else is your own uniqueness. No one else can be you. Your quirks and traits should be celebrated. Just accept yourself right now without any reason for doing so.</p>
<p>If you always do your best in life and can know this to be true then it doesn&#8217;t matter about what anyone else is up to. The only person who can judge you is yourself. Just make sure you are your own best critic and not the reviewer from hell.</p></div>

<p>Having low self-esteem is like putting yourself in a prison. Inside,  you are feeling frustrated at being trapped. You are isolated and have little self-worth or value in anything you think. Like prison, you personal freedom is severely compromised.</p>
<p>Your level of self-esteem refers to your perception of yourself. Whether you think you are inadequate and incompetent or empowered and confident. As your brain is like a field and your human nature is like a fertiliser, any thought you have is like sowing a seed that will come to harvest.</p>
<p>In short, if you think bad things will happen, they will as your brain thinks that&#8217;s what you told it to do. The more negative your thoughts become the more you are imprisoning yourself with feelings of insecurity and self doubt. You cannot make decisions for yourself and just start missing out on the world going by.</p>
<p>You start worrying about what other people might be thinking about you! Take control and make decisions based on what you want, not what you THINK other people want from you.</p>
<p>If you are experiencing life where you feel you are not good enough, you find that you are always putting yourself down, taking action is overwhelming and you are worrying about your image, you have a self-esteem issue and need to sort it out. Start doing things that you like doing and experience enjoyment over.</p>
<p>If you know something is a weakness just find a way of making that thing  irrelevant to what you want from life. This trait only has the power you give it. If it is not needed then the power is gone.</p>

The secret is to believe that you can and you will achieve those things that you are working towards. There are many people that want more out of life than they presently have they wish they could have the things that they see people around them enjoying. If they only knew those things and more are within reach if you believe you can do it; work consistently and diligently until you have reached your goal.</p>
<p>The only thing that will stop you from achieving that thing that you want is your burning desire. How bad do you want that thing that can change your life and move it in a direction of true fulfillment. Are you willing to work diligently putting aside those things that may be a distraction to your success. There are many things that can distract you and move your attention from where it should be. The key is each day writing down what you plan to achieve for the day and complete the task.</p>
<p>It is critical, especially when working from home, to make yourself accountable by taking steps to insure that you have daily goals set and to complete them. It is only when you apply goal setting to your daily routine that you will see that you are taking steps in the right direction to move yourself forward. The driving forces of belief, hard work, burning desire, and goal setting, and positive thinking are key to your success. If you think you can&#8217;t do a particular thing it&#8217;s probably true. True because your mind will not let you employ all of your driving forces because you think you can&#8217;t. Think positive and believe in yourself. If it&#8217;s knowledge that you feel you lack you have the ability to learn what you need. If it&#8217;s skill that you must acquire that too can be learned.</p>
<p>Nothing worthwhile come easily but must be achieved through hard work. Only when you have belief in yourself and burning desire to achieve those things that you have dreamed of will you employ the driving forces needed to make your dream a reality. You have but one life to live why not live it to the fullest doing those things that bring you joy and fulfillment. Change the way you think about yourself and your abilities and change your life. </p>

<p>For example, If you are not as successful as the person down the road, then you will feel that you are not smart enough and you will start putting yourself down, destroy your self confidence and you will never motivate yourself to achieve your goals.If you develop positive thinking, you understand why you fail at times and you will learn never to give up on your goals. If you have this perseverance, you will most likely achieve what you want in life.</p>
<p>Positive thinking also has lots of benefits on your health. From coping with depression to getting rid of stress and you will be able to develop great skills in coping up with any problems in life. There are many ways that you can develop positive thinking and there are simple ways that you can do to practice it. Here are a few things that will help you think positive and stay positive.</p>
<p>- Be with positive people. Stay away from people who relish idle gossip, or criticize everything that they see or hear. Spend time with supportive individuals. After all, who would want to be around with people who discourage you and drain you of your positive energy even before you start reaching for your goals.</p>
<p>- Be conscience of your thoughts. If you want to develop positive thinking, it is important to be aware of your own thoughts. If you find yourself always thinking that you are tired, you will eventually feel tired. If you are someone who always says to yourself &#8216;I don&#8217;t think that will work,&#8217; it will really never work. Be aware of the negative thoughts you are feeding to your mind and train yourself to make them into positive ones. Instead of thinking &#8216;I don&#8217;t think it will work,&#8217; try thinking &#8216;I&#8217;ll try to make it work.&#8217; That way, you are getting rid of negative thoughts and you are also motivating yourself.</p>
<p>- Learn positive affirmation. Positive affirmation is very helpful in changing negative self-talk. Most often, we tell ourselves we are stupid, or we are careless. Imagine how much we negative thoughts we are putting deep into our minds and our subconscious. Positive affirmations work the same way and instead of those negative comments, we inject positive things into our minds. Positive affirmations are short sentences that you can say to yourself everyday to feed your mind and your subconscious. Examples of these affirmations to develop positive thinking are &#8216;I love and appreciate myself,&#8217; &#8216;I love and care for my body,&#8217; &#8216; I learn from my mistakes&#8217; and many other affirmations you can use.</p>
<p>- Exercise. Exercise will not just keep you fit but it will also help you feel better about your self. The more you exercise to keep fit, the more you will reinforce your mind with positive thoughts like &#8216;I am healthy,&#8217; &#8216;I love my body,&#8217; &#8216;I take care of myself&#8217; and many other positive thoughts.</p>
<p>- Smile and have a good laugh. When you smile, you radiate positive energy to people around you, and when you allow yourself to enjoy life, you will reject negative thoughts in your mind. <p>The unfortunate thing is when you do not have good self esteem. Then you do not feel good about yourself and it usually becomes a domino effect that leads to failure in many areas in your life. You need to know that with a little work you can learn to build good self esteem and self confidence.</p>
<p>Here are 3 Tips to become more confident.</p>
<p>1. Start Believing in yourself and your abilities. You need to know that you do not know everything nor do you have to. But having confidence that you can go out and find the answers to get you the results that you want is really important to building self confidence. This is part of the key to your own success.</p>
<p>2. Surround yourself with people who love you and believe in you. This is really important because having a support system helps you to be able to have the strength to go on even when you think you can not.</p>
<p>3. Read positive uplifting stories and  material that will help inspire and motive you. This will help you grow in knowledge and confidence in yourself. You want to make it a point to read at least 1/2 hour a day.</p>
