			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many of us encounter plenty of negative feelings during the day. While we cannot control each component around us, particularly concerning people, we can always control how we react.  It takes some effort on your side, but it is possible to be happy and reduce negativity in your life.</p>
<p>Many of us are so conditioned to think life is meant to be bad; this makes it tough to believe that we will be happy the majority of the time. The following three things can make a big difference in your life in terms of reducing your negativity:</p>
<p><strong>Stop Gossiping:</strong> This is a tough one as we spend lots of the day talking. Sadly, plenty of these words are wasted on judging others. Gossip achieves nothing good and only serves to put you in a terribly negative vibration. Ironically, we gossip to make ourselves feel better but if you&#8217;ve ever spotted how you literally feel when taking part in this activity, it is a long way from good.</p>
<p>Gossip never comes out of a positive place either. We talk badly about others to make ourselves feel happier about our own issues and issues, because we would like to feel superior or we are jealous. Next time you end up in a situation where you would like to talk out against somebody even for the smallest thing, make your best effort to keep quiet. This takes effort and you could slip up sometimes but the more that you become conscious of this inclination, the better you are at controlling it.</p>
<p><strong>“Don’t sweat the small stuff”</strong> : Another enormous source of negativity is getting all worked up about small things that we encounter in our lives. We get so worked up about the most insignificant things; it just doesn&#8217;t make any sense. Letting these little things go is critical because you can&#8217;t probably control each component around you. We find ourselves complaining about things as the weather, traffic, rude shop assistants etc.</p>
<p>Not only do we immediately become upset, we feel the necessity to relay the situation to our partner or work mates, only to get all worked up again! Don&#8217;t wait for life-changing circumstances like cancer or a death of a friend to change your outlook in life.</p>
<p><strong>Reduce Consumption of Negative Media</strong>: Let&#8217;s be honest, the news is always full of negativity and it impacts you more than you know. Don’t literally withdraw from the world, but it wouldn&#8217;t hurt to cut back a bit.  Stop watching the news channels that have the same news recycled every few hours. Most of it is sensationalism, headline-grabbing stuff, that you don’t need to concern yourself about.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When you help people in need and they express gratitude, how does that make you feel? Does it feel great to be appreciated? Would you help them out in future too? You clearly would. Feeling grateful is an amazing emotion.</p>
<p>Well, what if your effort isn&#8217;t appreciated and they criticise and humiliate you instead? Would that have an effect on the way you&#8217;re feeling about them? What are the probabilities of you jumping in to help them should another similar situation arise? Very bleak? I will not blame you for that.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t indicate that you don&#8217;t need a more enjoyable life. That leaky roof might have been upsetting you for weeks, but you still have to be thankful for the fact that you do have a roof over your head. You can feel that you&#8217;ve got the worst job in the town, but I bet that you&#8217;d be capable of finding someone that would find your job a genuine blessing. Been in a violent relationship? Just be thankful for the incontrovertible fact that you aren&#8217;t in one right now. Even if you&#8217;re still in that relationship, you may be thankful that you have some time to handle it.</p>
<p>So long as you are alive, you&#8217;ve got something to be thankful for. Life is rarely going to be a massive garden blooming with roses that come without thorns. Its how you feel about the thorns that matter.</p>
<p>Your life would appear miles better to somebody else out there. Things do get messed up from time to time,  for life isn&#8217;t exciting without the ups and downs  but if you need less of these  in the future, learn how to love the ones you have now. In fact, it might have been worse, but it is not. Thank God!</p>

<p>We all appreciate life, despite all of the complaining we do, we really do enjoy life. After all, what is the alternative?  Let&#8217;s keep it as simple as this: we have a few simple decisions to make each day. Every day, with everything we do we have to make one decision. One of those decisions is either to get up in the morning and live, or to stay in bed and hide. No matter what else you run into during the day, you&#8217;ve already made the decision to get up and live, so why start worrying now?</p>
<p>We also have another more important  decision to make. That decision is simple. In fact, it is even simpler than you think. The decision is: Do I want to do this the easy way, or do I want to do it the hard way? It is that simple. As you live your life, you can choose to do it the easy way or to do it the hard way.</p>
<p>By saying easy or hard easy doesn&#8217;t mean you have to take the easy way out or  push yourself. That is a different kind of easy. The easy in this context is about the state of mind we had when we were kids. Remember when it was easy to enjoy everything? Remember when you smiled all day and laughed at everything that happened without waiting to see if it was an appropriate situation to laugh at?</p>
<p>Somewhere along the line it becomes easier to make life hard. It becomes natural to find all of the things we don&#8217;t like about something and focus on them. We focus on them to the point that we are unable to see any good in a situation because we are too busy thinking about everything we don&#8217;t like. We will even spend time complaining about good things in our lives. We are all  not perfect. We all complain. We find things that are good to be a &#8220;hassle&#8221; or a &#8220;burden&#8221; just like everyone else. But there is something that many of us are doing without thinking about it. We are making life very difficult for ourselves. When given the decision to make life easy or make life hard, we are choosing to make it hard. Why? We have the power to make a decision. We can decide to make life easier, if we really want to. When you are truly living your life, you make it easier on yourself and everyone around you.</p>
<p>Live life, enjoy it and make it easy.</p></div>

<p>Stop complaining about small stuff because it creates a negative field around you. It also attracts other people who add their share of negativism. Think about it, you surround yourself with people that are like yourself. At first it is fun, because you are all mind like but in the long run this will hold you back and eventually pull you down. There are no challenges, nobody to look up to. You are all equal and that is the problem &#8211; this situation prevents something new entering your life. Even worse, if complaining is part of your life situation this just makes it harder to break out of that cycle. People complain about the weather, their jobs, high gasoline prices, the government, their next door neighbors, and so on.</p>
<p>You barely hear those people talking how great life could be. What a fun trip it was driving from Vancouver to Clagary even with high gasoline prices making it a little more expensive. Who cares if the neighbor has a new car and you don&#8217;t. He probably has a ton of debt on top of it and it will take 5 years just to pay it off.</p>
<p>Eliminate complaining about day to day stuff. Start thinking positive and initiate change that leads to even more positive things. Get up and going as that is the only way to do it. Complaining will get you nowhere. The job you are stuck at with no way to advance and with a boss that is just mean. Find a new job and get out of there.</p>
<p> Stop complaining and take things in your hand and put your life on track to have a happy life.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Have you noticed that it is much easier to keep other people focused and motivated than to motivate yourself? Do you find yourself wondering where the week went and why you didn&#8217;t get to do the things you really wanted to, the things that are most important to you?</p>
<p>No matter how busy you are there are ways to achieve the focus you need. You must make rules for yourself, rules that take priority, and accept no excuses.</p>
<p>First, set your immediate goals. Decide what you want to accomplish in a week, and be realistic. If your goals are set too high you may fail and not try again. If your goals are set too low you will not feel that sense of accomplishment. </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t be afraid to set a minimum and a target goal, ones that you would feel good about accomplishing either way. </p>
<p>Next, set some long term goals so that you have extra motivation to keep up with the weekly rules. </p>
<p>When I start my day I do so with my rules (goals) firmly in mind. There is no question that these tasks must be done. </p>
<p>Tip 1: Try to get as much done on the first day of the week as you can so that if a day comes along that gets super busy you can skip a chore and still achieve your weekly goal.</p>
<p>Tip 2: When scheduling appointments, etc., try to leave one free day towards the end of the week that you can use for catching up.</p>
<p>Tip 3: Don&#8217;t be too hard on yourself. When you are working on the last of your &#8220;reserves&#8221;, recognize the tremendous accomplishment of having found the time to perform your task, and let yourself off a bit easy. </p>
<p>Tip 4: Re-assess your rules regularly. You create rules to help you accomplish what&#8217;s important to you. If you find you have created unrealistic ones, or if you find yourself in a time where you need to adjust your priorities for a while, do it. It is much better to adjust your rules than to let them go. Every time you achieve the goals you set for yourself, and follow your own rules without breaking them, you boost your self esteem. Feeling good about yourself is the big goal in life. You can achieve all that you desire if you take the time to effectively organize your thoughts, goals, lifestyle and commitments.</p>

<p>Countless books have been written on the scientifically proven system to obtaining wealth and prosperity.  Two of the most prominent classics are: Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill and The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. In this short article it&#8217;s my intention to just open your mind to the possibility that such a system exists.</p>
<p>Without going into the why (that would be a book) &#8211; here&#8217;s what you can do in six easy to follow steps:</p>
<p>One &#8211; If you want to do anything it has to begin with a decision. You have to make the decision that getting rich is your desire. And, it can&#8217;t be a vague decision. You must decide that you desire a definite clear amount of money, right down to the pennies.</p>
<p>Two &#8211; Determine exactly what you are going to give in return for the money. You don&#8217;t have to be totally clear on this, just that you are going to give people a specific service or sell specific items. But, you don&#8217;t have to know where the store is going to be or write out a whole business plan. Just be clear that you are going to give value in exchange for money.</p>
<p>Three &#8211; You need to be clear of a definite date by which you want the money.</p>
<p>Four &#8211; Create a plan for creating your desired outcome and start at once, even if you&#8217;re not ready. In other words, start by writing the bare bones of your business plan. What kind of business you are going to be in, what service or products. This doesn&#8217;t have to be something you present to a bank, just an outline. Then, every day you&#8217;ll want to take an action that is going to make this a reality. Opportunities will start to present themselves, be on the lookout for them. And, don&#8217;t be surprised if your plan takes some drastic changes &#8211; just ask yourself if they will lead to your desired outcome as well.</p>
<p>Five &#8211; Write out a clear statement of the money you desire, with the time limit, what value you intend to give in return and describe your plan (in brief detail).</p>
<p>Six &#8211; Read this statement out loud two times a day. And, most importantly as you read it, see, feel and believe that you already have received the money.</p>
<p>You may think of this as &#8220;mumbo-jumbo&#8221; but, it has deep scientific roots. For example, the reason for the sixth step is that your subconscious brain can&#8217;t distinguish the difference between reality and fiction. If you plant the seed in it that you actually have the money &#8211; your subconscious mind has no choice but to believe you.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s like when you go to a horror or action movie. Your conscious mind knows that you&#8217;re only watching a movie &#8211; it&#8217;s not real. But, what happens? You actually feel the physical reactions of fear &#8211; just as if it was real. Your heart rate speeds up, your palms might get sweaty. Well, it&#8217;s the same with telling yourself that you already posses the riches you desire.</p>
<p>Try it for thirty days &#8211; what the heck.</p>
<p>You have nothing to lose &#8211; and so much to gain.</p></div>

<p>Every morning, when I wakeup one of the first things I do before getting out of bed is to run through a list of things that come to me for which I am grateful. I place no importance on the order of things that come to mind, nor do I concern myself with &#8221;finding&#8217; something to be grateful about.</p>
<p>It is those first moments when you are awake and conscious that set the mood for the rest of the day. By starting out the day by being grateful, your whole perspective changes. Imagine the different ways you would feel between these 2 scenarios:</p>
<p>Scenario #1 &#8211; You wake up and immediately think:</p>
<p>1. UGH! It is way to early and I am still exhausted!</p>
<p>2. I hate going to work. I need to find a way out of there.</p>
<p>3. I better pay the electric bill today, because the late notice arrived 2 days ago.</p>
<p>4. That jalopy of mine better start today. I cannot be late again for work.</p>
<p>5. What the!??! Why is my spouse all the way over on my side of the bed? No wonder I feel cramped this morning.</p>
<p>Scenario #2 &#8211; You wake up and immediately think:</p>
<p>1. Wow! Listen to those birds singing outside. Just listen to how happy they sound singing to the new day. 2. What is this? Look how cuddly my spouse is this morning sleep next to me. I am so happy and grateful that we are together.</p>
<p>2. I can&#8217;t wait to get to work today. I am so grateful that I have a job in these times where others do not have a job. Even with the economy in tough times, I am fortunate enough to be employed!</p>
<p>3. I am grateful for my computer that I have in my office. It is such a great time saver and helps me manage all my documents, my emails, my videos, my new book I am compiling, the other book I am writing. It allows me to blog each day. What an awesome part of my life! I am so grateful it is a Mac!</p>
<p>4. Wow! Tonight I get to teach my computer class. It is going to be a great class and I am grateful that the students are going to show up and listen to what I have to say. This is my opportunity to make a difference in these students.</p>
<p>5. I love my car! I cannot imagine getting another vehicle. I love the way it handles, I love the acceleration, I love my XM radio in the car, and I love cruising to work listening to my iPod.</p>
<p>Which way would you rather arise in the morning?</p>
<p>I am sometimes grateful for things that have not yet come my way. I am grateful for the million dollars that is going to be deposited into my bank account one day. The money is out there, I just need to get it into my account! So even if there is something that you are hoping for, or wishing for, or something that you would like to get, you can still be grateful for it. You will get it in time.</p>
<p>The more you are grateful for what you already have, the more that will come your way. The Universe, or God, or Buddha, or Spirit, or whatever Universal Being you believe in, is rewarding you with more of what you have, but only if you are grateful for it. If you are not grateful for that which you currently posses, why would you be rewarded with more? If what you have now is not good enough for you, why should you get more?</p></div>

<p>- Thoughts Influence. Commit To The Positives. You won&#8217;t need any help in hearing about all the negatives in life. You&#8217;ll hear it from co-workers, the news and print media. Instead commit to thinking about all the goodness and positive &#8220;what went well&#8221; situations. Take out the &#8220;I can&#8217;t&#8221; from your vocabulary. This will take work to think in this manner but the results are amazing.</p>
<p>- Dialogue Inside. Be aware of all inner and outer dialogue. Speak of all the positives in your life and accentuate it in your conversations. When you write notes, talk and share all the positives in your situations. Express the amazing detail no matter how small you think it seems.</p>
<p>- Be Your Behavior. Whatever you decide you want your life to reflect &#8211; whether to be positive role model, healthy person, confident person, then, become that person. Behave in a way a confident, healthy living person would behave. Would that person eat fatty foods? Would that person slouch their shoulders? Does a confident person express fear? Of course not. Act the way a confident person acts. Form an attitude through the behaviors.</p>
<p>Take responsibility for your compass. Align yourself with people of integrity. Fire up your commitment to be your best.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Law of Vibration explains the differences between manifestations of matter, energy, mind and spirit result from different rates of vibration. Each and every thought is energy and has its own vibrational frequency. We are effectively transmitting vibrational signals into the universe. Even the seemingly solid items in your home, such as tables and chairs, vibrate. They vibrate at such a low frequency they appear as solid objects to the human eye.</p>
<p>When experiencing positive emotions such as joy and happiness you are vibrating in harmony with your goals. However, if you are experiencing negative emotions such as fear, anger, nervousness or anxiety you are off track and vibrating at a lower frequency.</p>
<p>Negative emotions are indicative of internal resistance. Remember, whatever you resist persists.</p>
<p>What about those who have been plagued by lack and negativity throughout their entire life? The universe does not keep score of how much negative or positive you send out and attract. It merely provides more of whatever it is you focus your energy on.</p>
<p>At any time you can choose to stop the negativity simply by refocusing your thoughts on positive goals and outcomes.</p>
<p>The Law of Vibration applies to everything you think, believe, act, intend and say.</p>
<p>If you don’t like what you have been attracting in your life, raise your vibration to invoke positive power and effectively apply the Law of Attraction. To begin increasing your vibration simply make a conscious choice to focus your energy more on positive emotions and less on negative feelings. Most importantly however, change the beliefs and thoughts buried in your subconscious mind</p>
<p>Everything begins with a conscious awareness of your self-limiting thoughts and beliefs.</p>
<p>The Law of Vibration states that any vibration which is sent out for good increases into higher frequencies as it moves through time and space until it returns to the sender bringing with it the gifts of those higher frequencies.</p>
<p>In contrast, any vibration sent out for selfish reasons such as greed or power will bring back vibrations with a lower frequency.</p>
<p>When someone is drawing energy from others, they decrease the vibratory rate. On the other hand, the giving forth of energy increases their vibratory rate.</p>
<p>When you are radiating good, you are increasing your vibratory frequency.</p>
<p>Perhaps you have heard the expression “give others what you desire the most”. By giving others that which you desire, you ultimately increase that which comes back to you.</p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance, fate, or luck. “It is in accordance with the law of cause and effect that people create their destiny with their actions. People are free to choose their actions, but once an action is taken, its consequence is bound to follow. Just as our freely chosen actions in the past have created our present, our freely chosen actions in the present will create our future.” </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">God will be unjust if He allows things to happen without a cause. What we are now is the result of our own actions at various times in the past. “Good actions result in inner peace of mind whereas bad actions disturb the mental peace. A bad person may appear to enjoy outer wealth while suffering inwardly because of wrong actions. Conversely, a good person may seem to suffer outwardly while enjoying inner peace of mind because of good actions performed.” (<em>Building a Noble World</em>, p. 10)</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Question: Why should we be punished for mistakes that we made unintentionally without realizing they were wrong? Please explain.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: x-small;">Answer: Ignorance does not alter the universal law of cause and effect. If a person drives his car absent mindedly into a tree, his resulting injuries won’t be fewer because he was absent minded. We must learn to adapt our actions to the law of cause and effect. Human suffering is not a sign of God&#8217;s anger. It is a sign, rather, of a person&#8217;s ignorance of the law of cause and effect. This universal law cannot be escaped. Whether the law of cause and effect applies universally is not a question of belief. Yogananda, in his famous book <em>Autobiography of a Yogi</em>, observed: “The law of gravitation worked as efficiently before Newton as after him. The cosmos would be fairly chaotic if its laws could not operate without the sanction of human belief.”<br />
</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><br />
All physical and mental forces in nature obey the universal law of cause and effect. Explaining this law, Sivananda (1887–1963), the great spiritual master of the 20th century, wrote: “The laws of gravitation, cohesion, adhesion, attraction and repulsion, the law of like and dislike on the physical plane, the laws of relativity and contiguity, the law of association on the mental plane, all operate in strict accordance with this law of cause and effect. From the vibration of an electron to the revolution of a mighty planet, from the falling of a mango to the ground to the powerful willing of a Yogi, from the motion of a runner in athletics to the movement of radio waves in the subtle ether, from the transmitting of a telegraphic message to the telepathic communication of a Yogi in the thought-world—every event is the effect of some invisible force that works in happy concord and harmony with <strong>the law of cause and effect</strong>.&#8221;<br />
