- Be with positive people. Stay away from people who relish idle gossip, or criticize everything that they see or hear. Spend time with supportive individuals. After all, who would want to be around with people who discourage you and drain you of your positive energy even before you start reaching for your goals.
- Be conscience of your thoughts. If you want to develop positive thinking, it is important to be aware of your own thoughts. If you find yourself always thinking that you are tired, you will eventually feel tired. If you are someone who always says to yourself ‘I don’t think that will work,’ it will really never work. Be aware of the negative thoughts you are feeding to your mind and train yourself to make them into positive ones. Instead of thinking ‘I don’t think it will work,’ try thinking ‘I’ll try to make it work.’ That way, you are getting rid of negative thoughts and you are also motivating yourself.
- Learn positive affirmation. Positive affirmation is very helpful in changing negative self-talk. Most often, we tell ourselves we are stupid, or we are careless. Imagine how much we negative thoughts we are putting deep into our minds and our subconscious. - Smile and have a good laugh. When you smile, you radiate positive energy to people around you, and when you allow yourself to enjoy life, you will reject negative thoughts in your mind.
